Event coordinators and tournament directors have a wide range of controls to promote fair and honest competition. eTournament Fishing captures GPS coordinates and each photo taken through the app is time and date stamped.  The information is stored by eTournament Fishing in the event there are claims of cheating or a disputed catch.  The information is available by request but is kept secure from tournament directors and staff, in an effort to promote future fair competition for everyone involved.

eTournament has preloaded several of the most popular freshwater tournament species, length to weight conversion charts into the app for use in your event.  eTournament will automatically convert the anglers fish into a weight according to the entered length.  Tournament Directors have the POWER to examine the photo and video release of that fish and verify the size of the fish prior to approving the entry.  If there was an error in entering the length of the fish by the angler the Director can change the length of the fish and the weight will automatically adjust for that angler or team and the entry will be updated on the live leader board.   

eTournament allows directors the ability to set tournament boundaries with a GEO fence that will notify the tournament director if the angler leaves the tournament boundaries.  The ability to set fishable boundaries makes this the ideal app for big water tournaments such as those found on the Great Lakes an off shore.  The app allows tournament times to be set so anglers can fish up to check in, allowing participants to stay on their fish longer.  When that flights time is up the app will automatically stop allowing catch submissions.    

eTournament has the option of a live leader board that shows updated catches by each team.  In an effort to protect anglers and their "honey holes", eTournament allows tournament directors to issue PIN numbers to each team at the time of registration.  eTournament will automatically generate a unique and confidential PIN number for each team and that PIN number will be known only to the team and tournament directors.  The PIN number is used on the live leader board and keeps each teams secret spots and their event standings...SECRET.  At the end of each event the leader board will update with the names and boat numbers of each team to make the leader board up to the minute accurate and complete.  A new PIN number is issued to the anglers/teams for each event in an effort to keep a tournament series as fair and competitive as possible.  Once the event closes, the app automatically tallies catch basket totals and places the teams/anglers in finishing positions.     

Setting up an event has never been so easy.  eTournament allows any person to use the app to set up an event and collect entry fees paid electronically.  The flexibility built into the eTournament app allows the photographing and videoing features to be turned off and the app can be used as a management tool.  The app automatically converts catch length to weight using industry accepted conversion charts for individual species.  The app can be used at multiple weigh or check-in stations to keep large state wide events organized and updated with immediate results displayed on the live leader board.  The live leader board can be turned on or off at any time and used as a tool to promote competition.  Flexibility is key when setting up an event and eTournament allows the number of fish in each virtual livewell to be set and will take the top entered catches of each day for the virtual livewell and display them on the live leader board.
